Hi,

The best thing for you will be to pursue 2 years diploma in Architectural technology, interior design technology, Civil engineering, construction science or related specialized technical fields...

To know more in detail about engineering diploma programs and college, see my recent reply to this post:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/transfer-of-course-college-after-reaching-canada-t149029.0.html

For example, NAIT is 1 of top grade colleges in Canada, offering technical diplomas such as:
http://www.nait.ca/program_home_76091.htm
http://www.nait.ca/program_home_78323.htm
http://www.nait.ca/program_home_76811.htm
http://www.nait.ca/program_home_76457.htm
http://www.nait.ca/program_home_76529.htm
http://www.nait.ca/program_home_78295.htm
http://www.nait.ca/program_home_77636.htm

SIAST is also a very reputed college. It offers programs such as:
http://www.sait.ca/programs-and-courses/full-time-studies/diplomas/architectural-technologies-course-overview.php
http://www.sait.ca/programs-and-courses/full-time-studies/diplomas/civil-engineering-technology-course-overview.php
http://www.sait.ca/programs-and-courses/full-time-studies/diplomas/engineering-design-and-drafting-technology-course-overview.php

Another reputed college offering techncial diplomas is BCIT, Vancouver:
http://www.bcit.ca/study/programs/5910diplt
http://www.bcit.ca/study/programs/5410diplt

Another is SIAST, Saskatchewan:

http://gosiast.com/programs-and-courses/programs/Engineering-Design-and-Drafting-Technology.aspx
http://gosiast.com/programs-and-courses/programs/Environmental-Engineering-Technology.aspx

If you want to study in Ontario, then you may search for diplomas related to construction/architecture on this site:
http://www.ontariocolleges.ca/FindProgram

Go through website of other colleges, to find similar diploma level programs.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/institutions/participants.asp

Alternatively, you may also choose to pursue a full 4 years Bachelor of Engineering.

Hope it helps.
