Need suggestion about NAIT Petroleum engineering technology

Need a little guidance
I have recently completed mechanical engineering from Pakistan with 3.9/4 GPA.
I have got PR card of Canada. But as i have heard getting job directly in Canada with no prior experience is very difficult and i have tried for MSc admission but yet no luck. Should i enroll in petroleum engineering technology in NAIT? Am i eligible to get admission in it and Will it be helpful for me for getting job?
I have to go Canada with in an year to save my citizenship......

Hi Umar, I can't provide any assistance with your question as I am wondering the same.
I'm a fresh graduate in Chemical ENgineering with no prior work experience. I was wondering how you managed to obtain a PR? Did you apply for residence with a job offer?

Would appreciate your response as I am hoping to find employment/getting a PR card to work and live in Canada.

Well i got it by family sponsorship. For this one of your family member should be Canadian Citizen and he can sponsor your parents and under eighteen brothers or sisters....But seems you are chemical engineer you will not fall in this category. There are other ways for PR card but i dont know about them....
