Hi there, pls I need ur sincere advice on my current situation. Pls reply me with a sincere answer amd what you think I should do.

I just finished a post graduate program in Ontario, which ran for 8 months, but I was given a 1 year study permit which expires in October 30 of this year.

After I finish the 8 months course in Ontario, I moved to Alberta in May with my off campus work permit which permit me to work full time if im not in skool session. The off campus work permit expires October 30 as my study permit.

Now I secured a full time Job this month in a warehouse which I heard it falls under NOC C for AINP.

My confusion is that, should I apply for my post graduate work permit(which will be one year) and apply for AINP.

Will the one year be enough for AINP to be through with my application. Or shuld I go back and study another one year course.. Pls I need advice on what to do. Thanks

Hi,

I would say start the job and apply for post graduation work permit in September because if u apply for PG work permit now n they approve it u will get it till next yr June-July (same date next year on which they approved your permit this year) .. n apply for AINP once u have AINP certificate apply for PR n once u have ur File number u can extend ur work permit.

Make sense ?

Does anybody know if we can change employers while ainp is in progress? provided it is not an employer driven category eg. SRS Engineering or SRS Post Grad? please advise
