Hii !!

I have 3 years open work permit which expire in June 2016. I read that we can get 4 years maximum work permit.

I applied for PNP in Feb 2015. But the processing time up to 24 months. So can I get another one year work permit extension I I don't get pnp untill June 2016 ?

Thanks in advance for your help...

From what I understand, the 4 years limit doesn't concern you if it is for a BOWP, as you are waiting for PR. I might be wrong though, maybe a senior could help?

There are exemptions to this rule, including
1) Employment in an occupation classifed as NOC O or A
2) Bridging open work permits

Yes, you may be eligible for a BOWP, but you can only apply within 4 months of the expiry of your current permit

Yes, you can apply for a BOWP, but you have to wait until you are within 4 months of the expiry of your current permit (e.g. not earlier than March..)
