Need help with group application!

Hi. How can I apply for a visitor visa for a mother and two minor kids? I mean, I cannot see any group application option! How should I start the application for a visitor visa to see the option of ‘GROUP’ application?

I thought mother had her visa approved? What is a group application? You can use the same account.

Do I have to apply separately for my family members?
Family members must complete their own application forms. However, you may submit your applications together online or at a Visa Application Centre (VAC) and use one payment receipt for the total amount.

Your spouse or common-law partner and children must meet all of the requirements for temporary residence in Canada.

I don’t know all the drop downs by memory but each child must fill out their own or what account you are using - GCKEY. You may need to set up an new account, as your wife has an approved TRV.

Temporary visa / Group application or not.

Do we have to use the GROUP APPLICATION for family members ?

I would like to invite my stepdaughter and her 2 years old son to visit us. It is understood that we have to use the online portal. Since then, my question is, do we have to start the application as a GROUP application which will include my stepdaughter and her son ? OR, only one application for the mother which will include somewhere in the process, her son ?

Hi all. I am still working on my group application for a temporary visa and I would like to get some information / instructions if you please.

First: When we need to give work information, the address we need to write down is the one of the employer and not the applicant, right ?

Second: On the form IMM 5645 - Family Information. Who needs to sign the form filled for a child of 2 years old ? The parent ? Or the form must be left unsigned ? I was thinking that the form would be signed by the principal applicant and a justification letter should be added.

Well well, I have found the answer to question No 2. It is not necessary to fill up this form for a person under the age of 18.

I used the new IRCC portal. There you get an option to start a group application. You give it a name and then add each applicant. The form and documents are separate for each applicant. I filled it for myself, my parents and my aunt. At the end, after submitting the documents and just before paying biometrics fees, you will asked to select a primary applicant and select the relationship of others to the primary applicant. There is an 'other family member' option if you don't fall under direct relationship category. All the best
