I received a refusal today. But didn't receive anything for my husband yet

Have they provided reason for refusal? It was quite fast.

yes i don't know what happened. biometric and background checks were on 2nd June, eligibility and decision on 9th. It seems like no one even had a glance at my application.

Hi all,
Indian applicant (Punjab)
I re applied my visitor visa on 19 may 2025 previous visa expired. Got approval on 09 June 2025 (yesterday). It was a can+ application. Given my passport for stamping today will update the stamping time, when i will get the passport. Peace

Background check - progress
Eligibility review - not started
Waiting for PPR

My sister and bil applied for us (my husband and myself) I received a refusal today. Husband decision is awaited

You should raise a webform for reconsider your application with updated documents which they said you lack in your refusal letter. As now they use Artificial intelligence for fast visa processing. When you will raise a webform for reconsideration a real visa officer will check your file and chance are you will get the visa.

I have requested the GCMS notes, as I received a generic response stating insufficient funds and a lack of strong ties.

What was duration of visit & how much fund had you shown in bank account? Had you submitted any documentation for properties you owned etc?

Duration was 3 weeks as we were leaving behind 2 children and a mother. Actually my husband retired as a military officer last year. we attached the property documents and in my account there were 10 thousand cad and my husband had more than 10 k cad in his accounts.

Gcms notes will not going to help you. In the gcms notes the reason will be same as in your refusal letter. So your only option is to raise webform for reconsideration or reapply. I have worked in immigration offices from past 8 years.

You can attach the current bank statement and balance certificate and your income source write a strong covering letter answering these questions and you will get the good response.

I dont know the procedure of raising a web form. Additionally my husband is a retired military officer and unemployed at the moment. Could it be the reason?

This is what I have attached including NOC of my husband and myself, frc Mrc all the bank statements and source of income. Yes we can work on cover letter. Never faced a refusal before. I had been to UK twice

yes reconsideration may help but if you can not use new documents for reconsideration you will have to draft a cover letter and then explain the documents that were already there.

I applied for my sister and her husband and son on may 13 , biometrics were already on file. no update since then if they are taking this long is this a positive sign?

yes reconsideration may help but if you can not use new documents for reconsideration you will have to draft a cover letter and then explain the documents that were already there.

Can we go for reconsideration in visit visa case?
