The processing time for UAE now is 13 weeks, your application has just reached its 2 weeks mark. You are still within their timeline, so just relax for now.

Processing time is not accurate, its an average time.
Yes, average time which means 4 weeks into the process is almost nothing so relax. I have read somewhere that GCMS and follow-up have negative impact next day they got refusals. It’s here in the forum somewhere.

It can't be a refusal only because someone followed up. I have seen cases where they received BVL/PPR soon after a follow-up.

Hi anyone here got an idea if what is the longest processing time of IRCC Abu Dhabi? Here's my timeline of waiting from now, my agency direct from Canada applied it via online:

IRCC accepted the work permit application: Feb 5, 2020
Biometric: Feb 9, 2020

Up to date no status update from them, it says still on process. The company i will be working with is an essential services but the position is not considered as essential (secretary). Do you have any idea how long it would take more? thank you...
