My official job title was Senior Customer Experience Associate, but many of my actual duties involved financial products, credit cards, lines of credit, account opening, GICs, needs discovery, and referring clients to financial solutions.

Could my experience potentially fall under NOC 63102 (Financial Sales Representatives, TEER 3), even though my job title is different? Or would IRCC consider it NOC 64400 (Customer Services Representatives – Financial Institutions, TEER 4) based on the nature of the role?

How does IRCC determine between NOC 63102 and 64400 when the job title does not directly match either NOC?

Hello everyone,

Could anyone please help me identify the correct NOC for my Canadian work experience?

I worked as an Operations Officer in Real Estate Lending deptt(Funding of Real Estate loans). My pay stubs show the deptt correctly , while my employment letter lists operational, transaction-processing, risk, regulatory, AML, process-improvement and policy-related duties, which is quite generic.

I initially considered NOC 11109, but my letter does not specifically mention mortgage underwriting or credit adjudication. NOC 14201 seems closer to some of the operational duties but is TEER 4.

Could anyone experienced with CEC/NOC classification please advise which NOC is the best match based on these duties? Either of the ones listed above, or any other match.

If I choose NOC 14201, that would make me ineligible for CEC.

Would really appreciate the support.

Thanks!

You match duties to NOC, not title so you have to figure that out.
