Notes: 1 A positive stage one preliminary eligibility
under notes:2 Eligibility passed issue to date - (they gave a date till next year)

Hello guys, it has been more than 6 weeks since I received the AIP (first stage approval) and I haven't heard anything since. I have already done the biometrics, but I have not received the Biometric verification letter (BVL) and there is no need for a medical request since I'm applying from USA. I have also applied for GCMS notes and I am waiting for them.

From the forums, I noticed that if people were going to get rejected, it would be done within 2-3 weeks of receiving AIP or they wouldn't receive it at all.

What are your thoughts? Is this a good sign that they're holding the second stage?

bruh, i saw 'final: approved' in your notes. and you are still waiting for opr with aip issued already, do i understand you right?

YES..got AIP in august and now waiting for passport request. as i have applied from USA and my primary office is LA which is closed right now because of this pandemic so i believe that the reason they gave me AIP instead of full approval
