Hi friends,

I applied for a study permit (September Intake) on May (10 weeks ago). This is the second time to apply (Paper, Cairo). No updates yet . The normal processing time is 6 weeks. My question is If I sent an e-mail to the embassy, may this affect their decision and treat with my application as a rush and refuse it ???? I sent them and email on June and their reply was in processing. Plz help as I need to take your opinions?

Thanks

Emailing the ebmassy wont effect the decision on file nor speeding up the process. Be patient

What you can do is link you application online and raise a case specific enquiry.

Good luck

Thanks Badi. You are always helpful.

I already linked online and there is no update yet. I want to ask them to be psychologically comfortable.
Because I applied on paper (not online). Is it better to emailing the embassy itself or raise a case specific enquiry ??

I would suggest try both at the end you want to plan you life accordingly. So if i were you i will try any possible method to contact them and know what is going on.
