Hi Seniors,

Could someone please suggest if it is fine what I have done for mailing address and residential address.

So for Sponsor the mailing address given is her office address and residential is her residential address.

For applicant given the mailing address different than residential address. Mailing address given is some relative's address in delhi. we giving this address, as thought letter will reach early on this address than it will reach on residential address.

Please guide if it is fine ?

Thats what I did to fill up my form.
I hope it turns out okay too. Anyway putting a PO Box number to your current mailing address will prohibit u to enter the same address to your residential one. So i think it is okay. You are not alone

I hope it turns out well.

I saw post from someone in the other two threads that 2 people got there files returned because their spouse was living in Canada with them on TRV and they did put Canadian address in spouse's mailing address.

I hope this is just in the case when you put Canadian address .

But i got scared looking at that comment.

Wait i think i got it wrong... so you mean to say you put your wife's mailing address as your address bwing the sponsor?

So let me try to rephrase question :

I am sponsor living in canada. I put my mailing address my office's address and residential is my residential address
Now my spouse living in india, I put mailing address one of relative's address living in other city (in hope to get the letter early than it will reach on the residential address), and residential address i put the residential address.

I am really not sure what to do for address.

Is it acceptable to put different address in mailing and residential.

Especially is it ok to put some relative's address in mailing address and own residential address in residential address ?

Thanks for clarifying. I get it now.
Well for you being the sponsor i dont think theres a problem.
As for your wife in india ... i am quite unsure about putting a relative's mailing address. Maybe it is ok if your wife is living there in the mailing address you put.or the people in the mailing address knows your wife well that if CIC will conduct an investigation later the people can tell CIC that they know her and she stays there or whatever. Since CIC wants to be sure...

Now we are on the same shoes. I hope we both turn out well. Praying

Ya people at my relative's address knows us. But the only worry I have here is that will they accept file with these addresses in the form !
Because i read comments from someone on other thread that they got their file returned today because sponsor wrote his Canadian address in applicant's mailing address. And now he is asked to fill representative form.
