Ok did they attempt to live together in a 3rd party country? you only stated that they did not live in Philippines. (that leaves out the rest of the world) (I would not be surprise if some of those "conjugal" applications were actually classified as common law).

Did they attempt to visit each other? You have only stated that the Filipino spouse got their visa rejected, but you did not state if Canadian partner did visit him or her. You also did not state if they meet each other in 3rd country.

What you stated below most likely proves the opposite (it indirectly points to several meet ups and some time spent together somewhere).

The case in this thread would be seen so far at best as some romantic chitchat on FB / Instagram / Skype. (they are talking 6 months and they have never seen each other in person. Other than long talks there are no additional ties there).

Seriously, for the 3rd time, IRCC does NOT expect people to go to a third country for a conjugal app.

I would be extremely surprised if ANY of those apps are actually common-law.

Of course they visited. No app would be approved without some in-person contact.

Jddd and I are not saying that OP qualifies. Read my previous posts where I flat out said OP has no chance right now. We are speaking to the general statements about conjugal made by yourself and canuck78 that were incorrect.

1. No, to clarify, they did not live together at all. The sponsors stayed in Canada and the applicants in the Philippines.

2. Prior to the sponsor even going to Canada, the couples were already in 5 year relationships (or more), one couple did attempt to visit the applicant, coincidentally, this is one of the couples who had a 6 month processing. The sponsor bought a ticket to the Philippines and 2 weeks later the applicant got her passport request. Still, technically, the approval was granted before the visit could happen.

I hope those 2 things are clear enough. I didn’t want to explain in length and thought that simply stating what I did would suffice. I do understand the conversation here so logic dictates that I meant precisely the above.

3. I never said the case of this OP is anything like the other couples, i actually stressed that a 6 month relationship and quickie marriage will cast doubts.
