Need help for Applying the open work permit

I am gathering all the documents for applying the work permit and I have question about uploading the form IMM5710

If i am applying online, do i need to print out the form and sign it then scan and upload it

or

I can just upload the file after validating the form electrically without signing it?

You'll be asked for an electronical signing at the end when you submit all your documents, you don't have to print the document and sign it.
