Hello All!
I was reading about the changes... Can anyone tell me that these changes gonna help the people who already applied. Will it make the processing quicker for 0213 or 1111 to minimise the backlog :S I am just asking because i have heard about it on different sites.

The processing speed will be the same for all NOC's irrespective of 0213 or 1111 for applications prior to 26 June.
The reason everybody is talking about apps. getting processed faster is that they are presuming that since now new apps. will take atleast 2-3 months before they start pouring into CIO, Sydney, the Sydney office will have that much more time to process old apps. same logic for the local visa offices. Then to add to the limit of 20,000 for new apps., this is bound to clear backlog, especially apps. before 28 Feb. 2008.
