Indians or Pakistanis based in Dubai (or any other GCC country), how do they send their passports for visa stamp when they receive their PPR.

Send it via DHL or Fedex. I used DHL and PP were delivered within 24 hours.

Once stamped, PP will be sent directly to Canadian high commission in Abu Dhabi from where Aramex will deliver to u.

When you sent via DHL, did you tell them that you are sending passports as I heard from people its illegal right...?

Dear...it is NOT illegal sending passports from / to UAE. It is offcourse considered illegal in Pakistan and India but not in UAE

No problem Sending / Receiving passport from the GCC Countries.
The FedEx/DHL also offer a service where you purchase their return of passport from Embassy as well (If sending for an Embassy outside, for lets say Temp/Student Visa or something like that).

For some screwed up reason (no idea why) it is not allowed by Pak/Indian Govt.
