Need Advice

Guys, I am sorry to ask this advice again but need to confirm.
I applied for PR on nov 2012 when I was working...got laid off in March 2013...PR application was rejected in nov 2013 becoz my exp was 10 days less than a year..Applied again Nov 2013 while I was on EI....went to home country for few months..came back in Feb and joined NOC B class job while looking for NOC A one...Its been almost an year since I am looking for NOC A job...Got rejected from few because of PR as they dont want to take risk with one year WP left, hard to convince people by telling them about BOWP...which I will extend in May as my work permit is getting expired in sep 2014..

Now question is....I wrote in my PR application that I was unmployed when applied...Can this have any negative effect on my application..I have a offer for NOC A starting from April 1. Should I send them copy of my new work contract ?

No, all good. You don't have to be employed when you apply.

I second what Toby said. When I applied I wrote unemployed as well. Got my PPR yesterday 8)

I was unemployed for almost a year right after I finished University and it didn't have any effects for me when I included it in my application.

I second what Toby said. When I applied I wrote unemployed as well. Got my PPR yesterday 8)

I was unemployed for almost a year right after I finished University and it didn't have any effects for me when I included it in my application.

If i persue a 1 year graduate certificate course, then i get 1 year work permit. So can i apply for PR after that?
If No, then what are the other options of applyitng to PR.

I am planning to apply at centennials for 1 year graduate certificate course on project managemaent for sept 2014 intake.

you need 12 months of full-time skilled employment. if you get a one year work permit, you will have to start working on the first day.
if you can get a job lined up for the full 12 months, then yes you can apply.

For Ontario Isn't it 18 months??

For 12 months work permit, PR is applicable only if work category falls under NOC..

Every job has a NOC, however yours - in order to become eligible under the CEC - has to be skill level 0, A or B.
