I am a divorced Indian woman.I want to apply for Canadian PR. My agent asked for the marriage certificate which I don't have.I have only divorce papers.Now it is impossible to get marriage certificate after divorce.
Can I apply for PR on the basis of divorce papers only? Or it's mandatory to have marriage certificate?

No, it's not mandatory to have the marriage certificate. Your divorce papers are enough.

This agent may not be very good if he's telling you that a marriage certificate is mandatory.
