Good Morning everyone,

I need an urgent advice,

I sent my application in October and now they are requesting ECA to be send to them.

My problem is that I noticed after submission that I'm not eligible for their program (my experience is not gained in the past 5 years- I stopped working in 2009)

Now what should I do, send them an email to withdraw my application? because I don't want to ignore their request and in the same time don't want to spend more money for an application that will end with a refusal.

And I'm thinking now to apply to other provinces but can't do it as my Ontario application is still under process.

Any advice? Thanks

It looks like you have got the AOR and ECA has been requested. In that case, you will not get a refund of CAD 1500 as the DD would have already been encashed by now. If you are not meeting the program requirement, logically speaking there is no point spending additional money.

thanks for your reply, Yes I agree with you and thats why I'm asking if I should ignore their ECA request or ask them to withdraw my App as I'm not meeting the requirements. I'm aware that there will be no refund of the 1500.

Yes, better to request them to withdraw your application. Explain it to them in detail why you would want to withdraw your application. Once the withdrawal is confirmed, you have your path clear to take further action with regard to applying to other provinces.
