Need Advice: Did not submit passport within 30 days

Hello Guys,

I need some information.

My mother came in Canada in January'14 on a visitor visa. I applied for her extension and got approved and was asked to submit her passport within 30 days. However, failed to send passport till date due to some emergency.

I am planning to send her passport now... any advice

How long ago did you receive the request for her passport? Has she left Canada since submitting the extension application?
