I had received my passport request for COPR on Feb 6th but the submission place was in Canada. I immediately wrote back using webform to change the place since I am currently in India, Chennai. I got a reply that it has been forwarded to an office but nothing later on so I again raised a webform requesting to change the place and the agent gave me the email address of CPC ottawa and asked me to drop them an email. Now, the problem is that I am scheduled to travel to Montevideo, Uruguay on February 29th and would be staying there for quite some time. Since there is not much time left, I am thinking to request CPC to change the submission place to Montevideo, Uruguay and submit my passport once I go there. Is this okay? I am worried since I am travelling for the first time to this place.
In worst case, would it be possible to send the passport back to chennai and have some one(with me being in Uruguay) submit it at vfs chennai. please advise
