near visa expiry , vacation planned - need inforamtion

I have my visa expiry on April 3rd 2012 and WP expiry on May 22nd 2012. I have to visit my home country in the month of march and will be returning on 26th of March, 1 week before my visa expiry. Can any one let me know any suggestions on how to tackle with port officer while returning to Canada ?? Many thanks in advance.

You don't have any issues. Your visa will still be valid and so is your work permit when you plan to re-enter. There shouldn't be any problems.
