near visa expiry , vacation planned - need inforamtion

I have my visa expiry on April 3rd 2012 and WP expiry on May 22nd 2012. I have to visit my home country in the month of march and will be returning on 26th of March, 1 week before my visa expiry. Can any one let me know any suggestions on how to tackle with port officer while returning to Canada ?? Many thanks in advance.

You are going to take a big risk if you have plan to come back a week before your visa gets expired. Visa officers will definetly ask you why are you coming , when your visa is about to expire in a week , if they feel you have intentions to stay longer then they might deport you as well.

My WP is till 22nd May 2012 and due to some emergency, I have to leave Canada. Please make me understand for any suggestions . . .
