(Asking for a friend)

Hi,

Person on student visa and studying in IT course in Quebec. Due to some reason, they stopped study and now applying for a new college in Ontario for a Nanny Course. Someone told a person that, you can apply for Nanny course and in parallel, you can apply for a LMIA of Nanny (they have someone known Family with Canadian citizen status whose child is 8 years old) and person can be employee of that family.
I will it is not as easy as it looks. Is it feasible to do that? Would a person get LMIA given that their first course was in IT which they did not complete and now changing the course to Nanny plus changing the province too.

please share if it is fine and they can go to this route or are there any risks?

Looking forward to the advise.

Regards,

So does the student have a new study permit for new program because if stopped studying then original permit is no longer valid? Would need PAL, LOA, funds and justify program when dropped IT. They cannot study (or work) until new permit is approved. If refused then they leave Canada.

So family has approved LMIA and posted the job and no one applied in Canada.

Would add that becoming a nanny for a family member having stopped studying will likely raise red flags that this job is primarily for immigration purposes not due to need. The 8 year old would be in school most of the day so would be tough to justify needing a full-time nanny. Do they currently have a full-time nanny that they would be replacing? Not sure what kind of education you are referring to for a nanny course but it will be very tough to justify such a significant change in field of study.

I was trying to understand whether KOHO works for Canadian casino payments and kept finding scattered answers. My search started with “is koho casino legit”, but most forum threads were either too short or outdated. What helped was this guide, because it explained what to check before using KOHO, including payment limits, verification, and basic safety points. It did not make the decision for me, but it gave me a clear checklist before going any further.

The scheme you’ve been offered appears to be a typical illegal or semi-legal ploy that fails to take into account Canada’s strict immigration rules, which have recently been updated. Below, we break down in detail the main risks and the reasons why this plan won’t work as easily as you’ve been promised.
