Name mistake

Discussion in 'Visitors' started by Canada..., Jun 3, 2019.

  1. Hi ,
I committed a silly mistake of writing my full name in the family name column and left the given name blank.
I got a refusal letter some days later but what I’m worried about is whether this will affect my next application because my UCI has been generated.
    Please help?

  2. what was the reason given for rejection ?

  3. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

  4. Whenever you apply next, include an explanation letter.

  5. I already submitted a case seperate enquiry today which is well after the refusal but what I’m worried about is whether it’ll delay my next application because I cannot afford that.

  6. for the above reason you need to show strong ties back home like house, property in name also do provide details in letter about the mistake in name when you applied for first time.

  7. I’ll do that property part but should I also include the letter if I submit the application by hand?
    The first one was online

  11. When you reapply include a separate explanation letter with the same, you can mention about your CSE also in that.
Make your to not miss this in order to avoid any misinterpretation. If you are planning to apply online, this can go in the "Client Info" section.

  12. Thank you for your help!
