Name mismatch in IELTS TRF and Passport

Hello guys,

I have a question regarding name format in passport and IELTS TRF.

In Passport,
Given Name: First Name + Father's Name
Last Name: Surname

In IELTS TRF,
First Name: First Name
Family Name: Surname

IELTS TRF does not mention my father's name as I only entered my first name in 'First Name' field while registering for exam.

Will this cause any problem during my application processing? If Yes, what are the possible solutions?

Any help is appreciated.

you can attach a same name affidavit and explain it in LOE.

Hi, yes it worked for me. I went to the notary with my passport and they already had a format ready for such affidavit (one and same person). It was on 20 or 50 rupees stamp paper.

Father's name won't cause drama, i don't think there's a need for a same name affidavit. It's literally the same name. The agents will figure it out

You’re probably right, but I guess a part of me says it’s best to leave absolutely no room for doubt.
