I am planning to apply for PR through EE. My school/college certificates and initial passport did not have a surname. Later on I published name change in Indian gazette newspaper and also got the surname added to a new passport in 2012.
WES ECA also mentions "The names on one or more of the academic credentials submitted for evaluation differ from the name indicated"
My question is while applying for PR do I need to provide any proof for name change process? The proofs I have is: gazette newspaper ad and local newspaper ad. I do not have any affidavit. I have been using using new name/passport since 2012. Do I need to create an affidavit now? I am currently in US. If an affidavit is needed, can my father get it done in India on behalf of me?
