Hi,
I plan to apply for a 2-year NAFTA work permit at the border. I have 2 concerns...
1. Does NAFTA have a strict no-criminal record rule? My misdemeanor for possession of marijuana 9.5 years ago will be "considered rehabilitated" in just 6 months. Does that mean I will get denied?
2. If my NAFTA application does get denied, I want to go visit anyways since I am already there. Do you think they will still let me in as a visitor right then, or do you think they will assume I want to work under the table for the employer on my rejected NAFTA application?
