NAFTA has a list of 60 jobs that don't require an LMIA, one of which is a "Computer Systems Analyst" with a requirement qualification of: "Baccalaureate or Licenciatura degree; or Post-Secondary Diploma or Post Secondary Certificate and three years' experience."
I searched computer systems analyst and I couldn't find the specific NOC. The closest I found were
2171 Information systems analysts and consultants A
2172 Database analysts and data administrators A
Does this mean CSA isn't a specific NOC but a broader category? That would make sense I guess since its an agreement between 3 different countries and they don't all go by the Canadian NOC system. My job fits very well under
2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers A
Would my job (2174) qualify as a Computer Systems Analyst?
I don't have a bachelors in comp-sci, I have a diploma from a 1-year condensed tech school located in Canada. I don't know if or to what extent the school is accredited. I have 4 years in the United States Air Force in a field that is somewhat related to my job.
Does a diploma from a technical skill specializing in my NOC count as a post-secondary diploma?
Thank you in advance for any help.
