I've been working in Quebec since Mar-2016, no gaps. My first work permit was valid from Mar-2016 to Oct-2017. I applied for an extension 40 days in advance in Sep-2017 and I got the new one this month valid from Mar-2018 to Oct-2019. But the problem is Remarks/Observations section in my WP is blank, whereas a few of my friends have got the remarks "Temporary Resident Status maintained as per R183 (6)......" on their WP.
Since this remark is missing, Quebec Health Insurance Authorities (RAMQ) treats this as a gap (more than 45 days) in my stay in Canada and put me on hold for 3 months before they can issue another health card (as the old one expired in Oct-2017). Also I can't claim my medical expenses incurred between Nov-2017 and May-2018
. I might have the same issue with other benefits like - child care etc.
Please help me find out if this missing remark is a mistake from IRCC side or the way my application was filed.
