My work permit expires in 4 months during pandemic

Hi Experts,

Currently I am in Canada under a "closed" work permit which expires in 4 months. My employer asked me to move back to India. Under this Covid situation, i am least willing to travel.
I also have a PR application in process but PCC is taking hell lot time, hence I think I cant get a Bridge Open Work Permit as it needs R10 check complete.

Could any one of you help me in showing some way where in I can stay in Canada with family?

You can remain as a visitor but you won’t have healthcare and your children aren’t entitled to free schooling,
