My son is a holder of a Visitor's Permit and I am applying for a Study Permit.... Please Help!

Hello. We are both holders of Canadian Visitors Permit and I am applying for Study Permit. My son will accompany me. Since he is a holder of a valid Visitor's Permit, shall I still include him in my application for another TRV and pay the fees or not anymore? If no, what will I do and tell the Officer upon reaching the Port of Entry since his TRV will be valid only for 6months? I want to extend his entry until the whole duration of my studies which is 2 years?

Please advise me. Thank you.

I suggest that you should include your son since he is going to be accompanying you. The office might issue a new on for your son since you would be studying for 2yrs
