Hi My sister and nephew applied for the visitor visa from Ahmedabad , India office.
They received their passports empty.. and a note saying :
"Important information regarding your application has been sent to the email address u have provided on your application or through your MY CIC account.
plese be sure to check the junk/spam mails of the email folder..
Consulate general of Canada in Bengaluru"

My nephew checked his email, contacted the vfs office , they told him to contact the help centre.. and when he did, they said u would receive it.
Its been 15 days since they received their passports ..

does it mean their visa has been rejected?
but then they should provide the reasons for it..

Please advise what to do next?

i appreciate help or if anyone has experienced this ?

Yes, they have been rejected. Would advise to check junk or spam mail. Also order GCMS notes.

they did the paper application in person at the VFS office
so they did not have MY cic account..

@Bryanna can you please guide me ..
really appreciate your help..
thanks a lot..
Unfortunately, they have been refused. It seems they have not linked their paper applications to their online MyCIC account. So, they won't be able to access their refusal letters in MyCIC.

They can email the Bangalore visa office to request for the refusal letters. Based on that - and if required - they can order GCMS notes
