There are many service providers, if you need cell phone plan check,

If you are staying at basement apartment there will be signal problem,
so Fido or chartr will be best plan.

http://www.fido.ca/web/page/portal/Fido/MonthlyPlans,

Land line and home phone, many service providers are providing the services,
including internet connection and internet phone they are somehow cheap but,
some need to sign contact, quality and service are vary company to company.

Many net phone / VoIP phone also there but quality..?? Like ...

http://www.rangtel.ca/,
http://www.torontotelecom.ca/,
http://www.webtelecomm.com/home-phone-service-pricing-order/,etc..

Some have the plan like mobilicity etc... add $ 20 unlimited to many contries including India,
some home phone plans are $ 30/month unlimited to 60 countries.
However, many people are using calling cards, value of $1 card will give you
120 – 140 minutes
in week expiry, so if $ 4-5 cards will be sufficient to call every day.
Why you have to waste $20-30 CAD every month, while you can manage with $5 / $6 per month
with mobile phone plan? other best one now days is top up card $ 6 , painless, save time, more minutes and best quality.

Now days everyone has messenger, gtalk and sykpe that give you free calling features.

Hope that helps, :)

Dear hmisabpk

Can you please tell me about the money tranfor from Canada to Pakistan. For example if we have to send money to our parents in Pakistan. As currently I am living in Kuwait and here procedue is very simple as there are many many exchange companies in every area, just go there and tell the amount you want to send Pakistan and your Civil ID as they have account details if you are sending the money regularly. So the money will be transfored within max two days and also you will get a SMS that your amount credited.

Now my question are,

How we can send the money from Canada to Pakistan (What is the procedure)?
If there is a limit for sending the money for examaple max you can send only xxxCAD?
What are the charges for a transiction?

I shall be very thankful to you

Hi, GEN.GUDU,

Same as Kuwait you can find in Canada.
1.By bank, ( Internet transfer, Bank draft, money order etc..) western union and / or private money exchangers, ( same as Kuwait)
2.No limit (you can send millions of dollar). However, western union, or internet transfer may have limit per transaction per day.
3.Bank, private and western union charges are vary from $ 10 – 15 per small transaction
(If more than $50 - 100K fee may be $ 50 – 100 per transaction)

Further check the links below.

Hi, raoasifjah,

If your wife is expected within few months, than you can halt your medical and send information to VO. After delivery add newborn and complete the medical. However, after 5 month of pregnancy, medical & x-rays can be performed. But may PPR / COPR or visa will delay and at 6/7 month pregnancy long air-travel is not recommended or not safe for mother & baby, many airlines will not book the ticket.

In my opinion if she is 4 or 5 month, than better to halt till delivery. PPR & COPR will take 4-6month and by the time your baby will be expected than you have to go back again for all process.

Hope that helps,

hmisabpk

6/7 month preg. Air travel not safe ? Who told you this .
Only first 12 week. And last 4 week are unsafe .

Else you can travel occasionally long haul air travel if there is no complication in your pregenencey .

Only thing needed is lot if drinks , and walk during flight .

Even flying from Canada to Pak/India. If you choose flight with 1-2 hault then it's not a problem.

1 hour car journey is more risky then 8 hour flight for pregnant lady .

Thumb rule : if mother is confertable then baby too.

Ask your grandparent , they will tell you stories that how people have taken pregnant women in labour to hospitals 30-40 km away from there village in TACTORS and when there used to be muddy roads in rural India.

Please speak to your GP and he can tell you better what safe what's unsafe .

Allah knows best .
