My IELTS score is low. Help needed pls reply

Hello everyone, i have completed my Bachelors in Business Administration . And in my Ielts i've scored overall 5.5 bands which is low and with this band i cant apply for Canada. So my question is that can i apply for english program in Canada and than apply for Masters ?
If its possible kindly suggest me .

Improve your score to at least 6.5 in each of the four categories and then apply directly for the Masters. That will give you the best chance of approval.

Sure - you can. However study permits for English courses have a high rate of refusal.

Again, you would be far better off improving your English and IELTS score while in your home country and then applying for the Masters directly.

and now they only give study permit for the duration of ur english language course duration and u will have to reapply after finishing course . I am not sure about this but its fairly new rule u willl have to research more
