Dear Sir/ Madam

I had a letter from visa office mentioned that the appropriate processing fee for my application was unable to be processed by the Central Intake Office in Sydney.

Therefore they determined that my application was incomplete and file number has been discontinued.

I had an invoice from CIC meaning that they have received my certified check date and I sent a copy of that invoice with my full supporting documents to Damascus.

1-What did they mean by fee for my application was unable to be processed?

2- What can I do regarding that?

Please Help me !!
 
his, sorry to hear that...you must ve missed some document mentioned in VO checklist or left some field in the forms blank........if letter does'nt have details about whats missing than your complete package will be mailed back to you and they should attach a letter with it mentioning what went wrong...............

I am sorry about ur application but what I understand is that only demand drafts and credit cards are accepted at CIO Sydney. Also did u send the correct amount for yourself ($550 CAD) plus any family members ($550 adult, $150 per child)?

I am so sure that I did not miss any thing they ask for, I payed them with a certified check and they accept that according to CIC web.
The letter just said that my application was unable to be processed by the Central Intake Office in Sydney. nothing more !

and I am sure that I sent the correct amount for me and my family and I HAVE the invoice from them!

Are u sure it is an invoice that u have and not a receipt, because invoice is usually given for services rendered/goods delivered and CIO Sydney will usually acknowledge *receipt* of funds. Also has ur account been deducted by the application amount? If so, u shud get a refund in some time. Another pt. I can think of is abt. expiry of Cert. cheques, u can check the link below for clarification :-

Anyway I would advise u to re-apply asap if ur NOC cap hasn't been reached with a bank draft this time, which is the most popular and appropriate mode, acc. to me.
 
it is an invoice and it is began with invoice No. ******in the terms of payment it said PAID IN FULL and the Mail cheque :ORIGINATOR !!
 
I would advise u to contact CIO with copy of available documents telling them about their error and if ur case is still not re-opened, then u can re-apply as per my previous post....
 
My Apologies. I did'nt looked at your timelines. you did recieve your AOR from VO a while back that means no docs were missing...so the what the letter says about CIO is weird since your app is with VO after positive recommendation from CIO....shoot an inquiry mentioning all facts to your VO marked urgent.......

I agree with Haral. This must be a mistake on their part. If they could not process your fees at CIO they would not have forwarded your file to VO. Act quickly. Let us know how you get on. Good Luck!
 
I am waiting for the official respond from the bank and when I get it I will contact them by mail and Email, even if they did not get the fees they should send me the check back . I am I right ?

I asked the bank and they confirm to me in written that the check is vialed and so far it did not Collection from their account, and never been into proses by any bank !! I am sure I sent them the fees on time ! What should I Do ?!!

Not yet I want to know what to ask them , did they lost the fees and if they how did they give me the file number and as i told the bank said that the money is still on hold.

Date .....Received Letter from CIC stating CIO unable to cash fees; discontinued File Number

Date .....Contacted my Bank, stated certified cheque still valid and uncashed.
