Hi Senior member's-:

My application was received on 23 rd May , I got the PER mail on 15th Sept.
As on 23rd May my experience was ( 5 years 9 months and 15 days - ie 2.5 months less for 6 years) for claiming 15 points.
But today my experience is 6 years and 2 months. I want to understand if they will count my experience on the date they received my application or they will take till date's experience.

Your guidance will highly be appreciated .

They will count your experience as of the date your application was received by CIC. So you will get points for 5 years of experience.

Thanks for the reply, but i have already got the PER email ...do i have to worry now or they can reject my application once the file is in the NDVO?
But if they count my experience till date i have crossed 6 years comfortably .

Yes - they can certainly still refuse your application once the file is at the NDVO. PER does not guarantee approval. It just means that your application passed a very basic check. They won't count your experience to date - just until the date your application was initially received by CIC.

Thanks again. Once last question - So they will count when they received the application or when they CC was charged. Coz when the CC was charged that date also complete my 6 years.

Once again, it's the date on which your application was received by CIC (NOT the date your CC was charged). Everything is locked in on the date your application is first received by CIC: your age, your experience, etc.

You can ask this question as many times as you want to. The answer is still going to be the same.
