Hi.

I got a job offer in Toronto area and we are trying to get LMO now.
But my employer put a lower salary than the job offer he gave me on the advertisement in job bank.
Isn't it make us trouble to get positive LMO?
If it will, we need to run a new ads again...
I better call to SC to make sure, but we are currently living in overseas and difficult to find the right time to call there.
So, please share your opinion if somebody know or had same experience.

Many thanks in advance!

Your employer should run the ads again showing the same salary that has been offered to you. Otherwise you're very likely going to have problems getting the LMO approved.

Better stick on the salary posted on the ads because when your prospective employer will apply for an LMO, HRSDC will for sure question it. I had my experienced last year too. On the ads it says $11/ hour but my employer put in my contract $12/hour. Then she receives a letter from HRSDC informing her to make an advertisement again so Permanent residents or Canadian citizens might like the new offer.

Thank you very much for your reply and sorry for late response.
My employer posted a new ads in the job bank and that's matching my job offer.
Now the other ads need to run, hope I can get a positve LMO one day!
