am in a similar situation sent my apps through Canada post on March 19,2014 and i have not received AOR,called yesterday and was told my apps have been misplaced gave them the tracking number which confirms that the documents were received,you can imagine how we feel they agent told us to call after 4 weeks.Can somebody please advise us on what to do next,i read somebody talk about calling the MP whats the purpose please explain?

asegai, your post reminded me that I forgot to update my status. I received an email confirming receipt of my application on May 2 (apps actually delivered Mar 7). And received confirmation of approval for my sponsorship. Therefore, the apps was not lost after all.

So don't worry too much yet, though there really isn't much we can do but wait and wait.

P.s. I emailed my MP's office, but never got a response. So I am not really sure whether they will help or not.

I saw that processing time for outland stage one was 40 days as of right now and the applications received on March 28th are the ones they're working on, according to the website so here's hoping I'll hear something soon.

P.s. I emailed my MP's office, but never got a response. So I am not really sure whether they will help or not.

If they don't response to an email, quite often you can reach them by simply calling them (worked for me). Thought I had to let you know, in case you need their assistance at some point in the future
