Hello..
My daughter, a Canadian citizen is currently working as a physiotherapist in Australia, and is awaiting her skilled professional working visa. She is currently with a 'bridge visa', that bridges her student visa to her official working visa. She applied back in feb , 2013, and submitted an application for a police check @ the RCMP in Ottawa. The fingerprinting service is back logged by about 8 months, so this part of her application is delayed( her prints were sent in 2 months ago). She risks getting deported in a month if she cannot provide proof that her print application has been received by the RCMP. I cannot reach the fingerprinting division, as there is a message machine, and the mailbox is often full. The RCMP cannot direct me to anyone that can help. This matter is urgent, and I would appreciate help with this matter. I picture her fingerprint application buried on someone's desk! I know this is regarding an Australian Visa application, but my daughter is a Canadian Citizen, and we need help with this!!

1. The posted processing time is 22 weeks for paper prints submitted.
2. Your daughter should direct the Aussies to the RCMP site for processing times: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/time-temps-eng.htm
