My course has finished, but my study permit and visa is valid for another 6 months, can I re-enter Canada?

Hi,
I am an international student, currently residing in Canada. My course has finished last month but my study permit/ visa is still valid for another 6 months. I am planning to travel outside canada. Can someone advice me if I would be allowed to re-enter the country on the basis of my study visa?

Your permits expire 90 days after graduation, not based on current validity.

You can but entry is always at discretion of CBSA.
