Can I re enter canada with my student trv after my course is over?

Context:
My course ends this December 24
I have my student visa (S1) and study permit till September 25.

Due to some emergency I need to go back to india this December 24( once my course completes around the 20-dec-2024).

I plan to return in the first week of Jan.
Can I re- enter canada and then apply for my work permit ?
