My Study Permit was submitted on 2017/01/10 at Lagos VFS, I linked it online in April. Since the aformentioned date, I have not received any progress on my visa request, it's being 23weeks and 3days. Not even a medical mail to say the least.
I mailed them in May and got this reply:
Please be advised that your application is still in queue pending additional processing. No further action is required by you at this moment. You will be contacted once a decision is made. We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
I also mailed them first week of this month, this was their response:
Due to unforeseen and significant increases in our TR volumes, we are currently outside regular processing times but continue to process applications as quickly as possible in the order they were received.
My initial start date was May 8, but I had to defer until September. Please what else can I do, this wait is nerve wrecking!
