hi.. i want to ask if i need to renew or apply for extension for mom every 6 months with multiple entry visa? Her visa is still valid till 2021..And what if i failed to renew extension within that 6 months period, is there any way i can still do to renew extension or do i need to apply for restoration of status?

Yes, your mother needs to apply extend her status. The validity of her TRV is irrelevant. If she doesn't extend her status, she will be in Canada illegally. She could then apply for Restoration but no guarantees it would be approved.
