Hey guys,

I have a working holiday visa. I'm thinking I might go there for two months, give things a try, then leave and come back in the summer. Is this valid on the working holiday visa?

Thanks,

Ewok

Sure no problem with that but you will still need to show you have travel insurance for the full term of the agreement for your country plus access to 2500 CDN. Who knows maybe you will find a job and love it but if you turn up at the border with insurance for 2 months thats how long your permit will be issued for so get full term insurance regardless in case

Also wondering, if you enter the second time, do you need to show the proof of funds again or is it enough just the first time to get the permit?

Thank you,

Once you have your IEC work permit stapled in your passport you are good to enter again subject of course to the same assessment of any temp resident by CBSA but having the permit gives you a reason for entering the country. You don’t need to show funds again or insurance.
