Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi, I am currently a student of BS Computer Science in Pakistan. My program will complete in December 2011 or January 2012. I want to continue my further education in Canada. So I will be looking to apply for MS Computer Science but i have got some questions which i need to clear.
1. Is GRE test required for MS Computer Science (Research Based) for Pakistani students.?
2. Can i apply for Fall 2012 in my last semester of Bachelors program.? (I am asking this because my Bachelors program may finish in December or January and the admissions for Fall 2012 will start in December so i might be in my last semester)
3. How to make my case stronger to get admission and Visa.?

Varies from Uni to Uni basis. You have to check each universities admission procedures, some requires GRE while some not. You have to do home work on it.

Yup. Better to double confirm it by emailing to their international department. They are very co-operative and respond you back in a timely fashion. Just narrow down a few universities that offer your program and drop an inquiry. For starters, university of Waterloo is a reputed university in your chosen field.

What about Universities in Toronto or University of Manitoba.???

As others have said, you really need to contact these universities directly for program admission questions.

Are you currently completing a 3 year or a 4 year BA/BS? As an FYI - Masters programs in Canada require a 4 year BA/BS.

yes i am completing a four year BS program.

ok i got the answer to the first question but can you answer me the last two questions.??

Hi ibad17,

Just wondering if you applied in manitoba?

If so, did you hear anything from them?

ask the university you want to get admission in, sometimes they let you apply by the 7 marksheets you already have(the results of all the past semesters) and ask for the final result later on, get IELTS for better recommendation , and also get reference letters by professors\deans\chairman's etc.
