Hi warblade25,

Have you seen your actual LOA? Instructions are there. They have a new procedure, we do not apply to CEM Makati anymore. You have to submit the application to CIO Nova Scota.

Here a link for you to read and follow:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EP7TOC.asp

You will have to download the document checklist to know what you have to submit. Some of the forms should also be downloaded and filled up on PDF form. Just follow the instructions on the link.

I believe you are referring to additional document requested by MPNP. If this is so, you will have to scan and send it thru email. Normally, additional docs are requested online so you will just have to reply to that email address. Easy, yeah? :)

Salam,
Hope your IMM0008 downloading issue is solved.
Do you have only birth certificates ? Not B-form ?
Okay if you have B-form than you can see identity numbers in right side.
And couple of days ago i make a similer question regarding expiry date.
Someone ask me to leave and one person ask me to write as 2099 for validation of form.
Coz validation is must.
I am too confuse what to do?

I know what you mean about that, I provided my drivers licence, so the expiry date wasn't an issue.

Try to see if you can validate the form if you add the birth certificate without writing the expiry (leave that portion blank). As birth certificates do not have any expiry. Unless, there is a country that does have birth certificates with expiry. You will be sending a copy of the birth certs anyway, proof showing that they don't have any expiry dates.

That is what I would have done. Maybe some other posters can provide their input.

I didn't know that BC can expire on one's 18th birthday.

I have always thought that it has no expiry, or if it does have, it should be on the date of death.

Better leave it blank if possible, the BC doesn't state the expiry, so why state an expiry date that isn't on the BC.

Picture that you are the VO, you saw the expiry date provided by an applicant, you checked it on the BC, you didn't see it. Now what would you do as the VO? Probably asked for another BC from the applicant with expiry date. So, it will cause two issues:

(1) the applicant couldn't get a BC with expiry date, will have to explain to the officer that in his/her country BC expires when one turns 18
(2) the VO will ask for proof that 18 years of age is the expiry of BC

Which will all end to a delay in application. And worse case scenario, seen as lying on an application.

In my own experiences of filling in forms, if I am not sure, I leave it BLANK. End of the day, the authorities will ask for further information, if needed.

As far as I know, we don't have a national identity number in the Philippines. This has been discussed in another thread which I read before.

Hi anabia and simplyblessed,

I was wrong when i wrote my passport number for my national identity,Philippine passport is considered as one of the national identity in the country I currently work now and I am informed recently from my new friend who will be landing on April 2014 to BC that she used her PRC card as her national identity and for her 2kids were the Philippine postal i.d.Tabs was right when he used his driver's license.
I think national identity docs are the i.d's/documents that are accepted for office/bank/ transactions in your country aside from ur passport. This is only my idea. Please correct me if am wrong.

Thanks.

Passport number is also a national identity document. And yes, those required when applying for bank accounts or collecting remittances are also considered national identity documents.

Primary documents in the Philippines are passport and driver's license (and I think SSS is also primary). The other's are secondary. Birth certificate is also a national identity document just not primary as it doesn't have any photograph. Other secondary are TIN, Postal ID etc. I remember these documents because I had to apply for a bank account, a TIN number, driver's licence and sometimes go to Western Union.

And Birth Certificates have no expiration date. For instance, an applicant had to show relationship to his/her sponsor. The sponsor is first cousin on mother's side. You would need the following birth certificates:

(1) Applicant's Birth Certificate
(2) Sponsor's Birth Certificate
(3) Applicant's mother's BC (even if she is deceased)
(4) Sponsor's mother's BC

Even if the person is deceased, his/her BC still doesn't expire. One has to show a death certificate as evidence of death.

By the way, I am a SHE not a HE. :p

Hi,

This is actually a generic reply for anyone who inquires about the status of his MPNP application. Don't worry, just be more patient. I received my LOA after 6 months, FS like you.

Cheers!
