My brother is a supporter under a Family Stream. However, I have two more close friends. Should I indicate the in online application????

Sorry for so many questions.

I noticed an option to upload my brother's proof of employment, however the descriptions says "Relatives include a copy of this document when they mail Part 2 of the Settlement Plan to the MPNP."

So I don't need to upload this document at this step????

Hi iceboyz!
I have also friends in Winnipeg but I only included my auntie's details since she will be the one who will sponsor us and will submit settlement plan part 2.

HTH.

Good day to everyone!

I applied through online application for MPNP last August 2012. After 48 hours, they replied via email confirming that they receive my application and also, included on that letter was my File Number. But the file number that i received was with a 2 letters and a 10 digit numbers.
I just want to know, how will I be able to track my application.

your respond will be a great help.
thank you.

Hi bujing25,
I think there is no way of tracking the status of your application to MPNP. If you emailed them, they will not entertain you, and worst can delay the processing your papers. What we have to do is just wait and pray.

Good luck!

A question:

For MPNP family stream (online)
want to know about bank statement . have they mentioned in their rules that the bank statement should be for the last 6 months ? because a member here was not sure and he said that we can apply immediately after depositing the money.

Hi. MPNP requires bank account history for at least 6 months for Online applicants. By mail applications require at least 3 months history. Hope this helps!

Need help with answering in Settlement Plan!!!

I am applying under Family stream. I am a construction electrician with 2 years of experience.
I want to state this profession in my settlement plan. However, in oreder to get a certificate of qualification I need to have 6 years of experience. in this field. Therefore, I want to explain in my settlement plan that I will be looking for an employer who can register me as an construction electrician apprentice, so after I will have required work experience, I will apply for a Certificate of Qualification in this field to become journeyperson.

The point is that finding an employer that will register me as construction electrician apprentice will probably take some time. And my question, to you guys, is:

Do I need to say in my settlement plan that while looking for the company that will hire me as an construction electrician apprentice, I can find a temporary job at low skilled positions as helper at construction site, cashier at different stores etc????????????????

Or it is better to stick to construction electrician and not mention other positions???????????

Im new here, just want to know the processing time for online application??

Thanks..

My nephew sent his online application last Nov 15, '12 same date he recieved
AOR with file number, and i got the Sp2 for my nephew at the same date and i just send the Sp2 thru email, how long should i wait for the next step?? Like phone interview??

Hi carl! Did you include IELTS score in your application for your visa? :)

Hi there. No I did not. In my version of the checklist, IELTS is not required. I submitted my visa application on March. However, effective July 1, 2012 IELTS in now required for certain occupational categories.

Hi iceboyz,

There is a part on settlement plan part 1 wherein you can state what non regulated jobs could you find based on your training and work experience.

I need help with filling section "Relatives & Friends" of Online application.
This section requires to answer the question "Date this person became a resident of Manitoba".
My close relative, who will be my supporter, came to Manitoba in 9th of November 2009 to study and had lived there as an international student until November 2011. Since November 2011 he got a permanent resident status in Canada. He still lives and works in Manitoba . His Manitoba Health card is dated 10th of November 2011.
The question is: What date should i write in field " "Date this person became a resident of Manitoba " ? 9th of November 2009 or 10th of November 2011????
I am looking forward to hearing you response.

I think If your sponsor has PR from Nov 2011, then the date he is considered to be a permanent resident is Nov 2011 regardless of when he first landed in canada. Hope this helps.
