hi......

any updates!! :(

Updates, none so far!

I'm also keeping track of the updates from Janmyung and dc. They are ahead of us.

The GREATDear Dubai Applicants ,

Lets share our Thoughts & Experiences...

We (Dubai to Canada Group) are planning for a Get together in Dubai...

Now I wish to refresh few words from our Great Captain (Qorax, now in Canada)....who is still a vvvv active member helping many, :D
Firstly, it will sail us through on this long agonising waiting period. Secondly, thru networking we can help each other on info sharing and act as morale boosters. Thirdly, we'll expand our 'Friends-Circle', both here as well as post landing.

Quite a few of us, in Dubai, are already in touch with each other. Some are thru, some just applied, while some are waiting for our PPRs. Let's expand the network... Those who are interested can join us .
OGETHER is planned as:
-Date : 27 AUG Friday 2010
-Time : 8.00pm
-Venue : SAHARA Centre Food Court ( Sharjah )
-Main Agenda : Sharing experiences and CHC London's Progress..Any additional members are most welcome. You Can PM me for participation....

Regards,

JM

hi mylynie,
What's the latest on your application? Have you received your LOA? God Bless....
lormac

hi lormac,

nothing yet:-(
i dont know whats keeping it this long. Its been two months already.Ive been calling/visiting the post office here to know for myself if there had been mails for me but to no avail. As for now, im trying to divert my attention to other things coz everytime i think about this, it makes me depressed all the time. I will leave it up to God, if its His will then thy will be done.maybe not now but soon, hopefully.

Hi mylynie,
I know how you feel. That's what I was also feeling when I was waiting for the letter. You're right, just divert your attention to some other things and continue praying. We'll also include you in our prayers. May I make a suggestion? Can your sponsor call the Manitoba office to check the status? Or you can send them email, sort of inquiry lang.
God Bless...

thanks lormac, i know i can rely on your wisdom. I have already talked to my sister in law about having them call the office but we are also not too decided to make the call since it was stated clearly in their guidelines and rules not to contact them. personally, i really wanted to inquire but im a bit scared somehow. often i would think that maybe they have already sent me something but it was lost somewhere during the mail process but the thing is im always in contact with the local post here...huhuh....what do u think?should i email them now?i really need encouragement from you guyz.

You never got a denial of your application so that is a good thing. Keep on hoping and keep on doing what you are doing. It will definitely come.

hi Janmyung,

i noticed that medical requests are issued 3 to 4 months from the initial submission of documents to the embassy..it`s hard to play the waiting game.. :-X

Yes, it seems that 3 to 4 months ang medical request.

Also seems 5 mos after the medical ang PPR.

But we need to be patient and survive the worries while waiting. What more if we already made our move to Canada, and got no jobs for months?

God bless to everyone and hope that we all keep the faith!

hi mylynie,
There's no harm in sending an email for follow-up. I remember, one of the guys in this forum sent an email to them following up the result since it has been months also that their sponsor was interviewed. To his surprise, they replied and he was told that mail was sent to his address long time ago. When he followed up, the deadline in the letter has passed and he requested for extension. Fortunately, he was given, if I'm not mistaken, another 2 months. Go ahead, just try. If they reply, well and good, if they don't, at least you tried. Good luck and God Bless.... lormac

Hello Mylynie,

I think I can share to you some of the things i did.... when I was waiting for my LOA, I really could not sleep well so.... i emailed them... i even called them up! hehehe... several times... by God's grace hindi naman sila nagalit. I was very thankful they were accommodating and the last call I made, they told me that the decision letter has already been sent to me with the lady in the other end with light mood as if telling me wait for your LOA dear though she really did not tell me the outcome.... so I prayed even harder and hoped... then there it was.. carried by our postman. So very happy. Praises be to God.

hi mylynie
we all can feel hw difficult to pass the waiting time but its all part of the game. One IMP point is U Must email them and u can also try to contact. there is no probs at all. if they don't respond by Phone or email. u can request of CAPS note. so there are ways ... as a 1st step u can email them with all details. and later a calll. ..........b cool and enjoy ur life here..... :D... God bless u allllll
