AnnaG not all occupations are eligible for mpnp for example - nurses etc.. MPNP will only give LAA if your occupation is in demand and if its required in Manitoba that is no use for them.

ZAJAMIL - Don't feel down at all. Distant Relative/friends will going to receive LAA very soon.. The score will fluctuate between 400-500 and keep coming down as they are picking relatives first i.e. I believe before March friend/distant relative will get LAA.. GOOD LUCK & GOOD WISHES.

Manitoba thinks for all... WE NEED TO PROTEST FOR REFUGEES WHO TRYING TO GET PR WITHOUT ANY HARDWORK. REFUGEES MUST BE SENT BACK TO SYRIA.

Hello All!

I was reading a forum and seen one post who also applied for full application. She said their application was screened again because of her answer on EOI. I just wanted to ask how I can update me EOI? I already received an LAA and currently processing my full application. However, I was confused with my answer on EOI. For this specific question "
Do you have official test results indicating you have language proficiency in Canada’s second official language at CLB 5 or higher?"

I also answered Yes, because I thought that the question is referring to French test or IELTS test result. I have taken IELTS test but not the French test. So I wonder how I can edit this. I am worried this will affect my application. Please advise. Thanks!

Hi! you can't edit your LOI. That was one of my mistake too. I also answered "yes" so when I submitted my full application, MPNP replied asking the result of my 'French test' ( I have taken IELTS)... So they asked me to resubmit a new EOI and waited to be included in the next draw.

Thanks for your swift response Olurotimi, please, correct me if i'm wrong. I thought 6 band score in each individual band for IELTS are strictly for applicants who intend to apply under the Express Entry Pool (EEP). Since i'm applying under MPNP, it is expected that I have band scores approved for MPNP? Like I said earlier, I have already got my LOA even though my IELTS just clocked 2years, so it's no longer valid. Will be writing another IELTS to enable me submit my application to CIO/CIC.

I need you clarification guys..Znafier please assist.

Best wishes to all!!

Its the standard. CIC has the final say, you must submit 6 all round since express entry is the way to get to Canada.

Question regarding the Settlement Plan Part 2, will my relative receive an email asking for the Settlement Part 2 from MPNP? Or it is given that my relative should send the SP2 right after I receive the application file number?

Thanks

Your relative will receive an automated email once your application is received. All the best

that means I have score 407 points with distance relative and hope to get LAA.... near soon

Hi! I just want to ask how long does it take to receive a nomination in Manitoba?

Here's my timeline:

Sept 11 '15 - Received an Invitation To Apply For Manitoba
Sept 30 '15- Submitted all the Documents
Oct 1 '15- Received AOR and File Number

Until now I haven't received a Nomination and the status of my application is still Received. Kindly enlighten me.

Thank you Smiley

ZAJAMIL - I don't say that you will get LAA soon as you scores 407 but also I don't say you will not get soon.

They will definitely put a STOP on close relative section shortly after-all why friend/distant relative exists then. Don't loose hope. Once they pick distant relative/friend section application they will put a hold on close relative.

As in last 4-5 draw only one draw I saw a gap of 6 scoring else there was like 1, 2, 3 only... And in each gap on average 250 applications they picks up.

Don't think if you got LAA you are the winner. The race has many hurdles in between. Out of recieved LAA's most of them are getting out too. SO CHEERS FOR everything...

Whàt is your best guess when that time will come for distant relative...... i mean from past 1 year we are observing that only relative category is being entertained. Now the program is completing its first anniversery and still we dont see distant relative applicants being entertained

General Exploratory visits – 2016 intake is NOW OPEN

General Exploratory Visits

The MPNP accepts – only during set periods – requests to make an exploratory visit to Manitoba. Watch this page for news of 2016 intake dates.

What is an MPNP exploratory visit? An exploratory visit is a pre-arranged trip that potential MPNP applicants may make to the Province of Manitoba, Canada to research communities and employment opportunities to help them make an informed decision on whether they have the intention and ability to find employment and settle with their family in Manitoba as permanent residents.

Same issue with me at @ITgirl
EOI - May 1, 2015
LAA- SEPT 9, 2015
COMPLETED APP/ RECEIVED FILE NUMB; - SEPT 25, 2015
SUPPORTER SENT SP2 - OCT 17, 2015
STATUS - RECEIVED EVER SINCE
Does anyone with a similar timeline (SWO) have a diffrent status

Hi

I have same timeline as yours. My status is also received. Have not received any update from mpnp till now.

Wzafar89 - Well my guess is before March distant relative/friends will start to entertain them.

Also, In April EOI will make 1 year and might close and there may be possibility to resume old style of MPNP rather than EOI.

Atleast just give wait till March.
