MPNP EOI-SW (Expression of Interest - Skilled Workers) - 1st Batch 2015

Hi everyone

Anybody have any Idea about following programme

" your close relative or close friend who live in Manitoba for atleast one year , can sponser you and this application is not through express entry but your close relative or close friend will directly apply from Manitoba. After application Visa officer will call sponser as well you and ask about resattlement plan etc.to both, If he satisfied he will granted for the MPNP nomination and then you should apply to CIC for the PR "

I have not read about above programme for Manitoba but one of consultant is saying like that.If anyone has knowledge about that please mantion here.

IS there any friend here can briefly let me know if we have a friend in Manitoba where we should start our application? what will be his/her responsibility as my fried who live in Manitoba? i mean links and forms he/she should sign? what is the step by step procedure for this program?
Secondly, is it possible to apply for MPNP without having friend there while we are above 60points?

i do n't understand the explanation about "Fully recognized by provincial licensing body" mentioned here:

This faster processing times is surely an added advantage for the immigrants applying now as it was ages to wait for receiving a file no. in the past..
Hope the ones who got an MPNP- LAA will surely post about their nomination approvals soon ncluding u znarfier..

"your close relative or close friend who live in Manitoba for atleast one year , can sponser you and this application is not through express entry but your close relative or close friend will directly apply from Manitoba." -- The applicant who is in Manitoba or outside Manitoba has to submit an EOI (Expression of Interest).

There are two pathways to Manitoba

Skilled Workers in Manitoba

Applications are accepted from qualified temporary foreign workers and international student graduates who are currently working in Manitoba and have been offered a permanent job with their Manitoba employer.

Skilled Workers Overseas

Applications are accepted from qualified skilled workers who can demonstrate a strong connection to the province through family or friends, past education or employment, or by invitation of the MPNP, and be assessed sufficient points for five eligibility factors – age, English proficiency, work experience, education and adaptability.

The MPNP assesses your eligibility based on the documents you submit with your MPNP Online application. You must substantiate all claims you made in your Expression of Interest (EOI) and all information provided ion your application with credible supporting documentation.

Therefore, before you log in to apply, be sure that you know what documents you will need and gather all these documents so that you are prepared to scan and upload them with your MPNP Online application.

There is nothing like that. Be wary of lawyers/agents who wants to make money out of unsuspecting immigrants. Do not believe anything you do not find written on the province websites.

The lawyer is only re-framing what the site says that you will fill settlement plan 1 and your supporter will fill settlement plan 2. both will be used to assess your ability to adapt to Manitoba.

Don't believe him. its a white lie

Dear krjoshi it was in the old system. Now, new system is introduced and the Consultant may not be aware of the new EOI system. Now, you have to go according to MPNP instructions. And znarfier is right.

Thanks ZNARFIER for detail answer.It meanse that currently for MPNP who applied form out side CANADA there is only a way and it is, "submited the Express of Intrest (EOI) through Express Entry ? " and "even no sponser can apply from Manitoba" Correct me if I misunderstand ?
